Senior Custom Installer
Background

Scope of Work
- Installation of residential audio/video systems (including control panels, switches, TV’s and speakers)
- Maintain open communication with Scheduler regarding project timing
- Troubleshoot and resolves unexpected installation problems
- Structured wiring (new construction & retrofitting) of CAT5e, RG6, 14/2 etc..
- Report daily on activities completed, deferred, requiring further action or material
Skills
- Minimum 3 years experience in the field installing residential audio/visual products
- Aptitude in working with your hands (hand tools)
- Ability to take project from concept to completion
- Strong troubleshooting and system testing skills with the ability to think on your feet
- Superior interpersonal skills in dealing with clients and colleagues with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to provide detailed documentation to support daily jobs/tasks
- Ability to listen & learn from others
- Must be able to work well independently with minimal supervision
- Solution oriented
Other
- Must have valid B.C. Drivers license
- Must have clean, professional appearance and a great “can-do” attitude
- Previous construction or renovation experience would be an asset
- Some travel may be required (overnight)
