My husband and I were having our home renovated (and living in the house during the process) when the Representative from SmartHomeShop called at the door. I had lots of ideas on what electronic toys I wanted and how I wanted to use them but NO idea on how to accomplish this. The contact from SmartHomeShop came at a very opportune time. As they often say, timing is everything.
I was redoing the kitchen and my passion was to have a computer conveniently located so I could do my email while sipping my morning coffee, looking out over the view. I also wanted to use the computer to search the internet for recipes to cook with, and I'm happy to say that my cooking has improved!! SmartHomeShop worked with my kitchen designer to make sure the cabinets would meet the technological needs. My computer is even connected to the main media centre so I can play MY music throughout the house.

I was introduced to SmartHomeShop through my interior designer during my major renovation. Being a bit of a gadget guru myself I was a little concerned that what I had in mind may not be possible because my home was a little older. SmartHomeShop was able retro-fit a state of the art audio/video system with the seamless finish of a new home.
I love having friends and family come by to watch the big game. We also spend a lot of time listening to music and playing video games. It amazes me how everything is connected to the components in the basement and the staff at SmartHomeShop understood the type of sound and performance I was after!
I never thought I would get into cooking but with the TV in my kitchen I actually enjoy spending the time there. Thank you Smart Home so much for making this system comes to life!

Home Theatre
I engaged SmartHomeShop to install a theatre in my home. I had very specific requirements which included the integration of my media zone computer software with the theatre equipment. Drew and Chris listened carefully to my requests and requirements which may have been difficult for them given my lack of technical expertise. Nevertheless, within a relatively short space of time they were able to design what I wanted without imposing unwanted features while at the same time making helpful suggestions. The young men from SmartHomeShop involved in the installation were excellent, technically very competent and nice to have around.
I now have a theatre that meets my requirements and provides me with a quality experience whenever I use it. The equipment is great, and the features are simple to access using a single hand held control device which was programmed for me by SmartHomeShop.
The theatre, which includes a wall mounted plasma screen, concealed hardware and an unobtrusive speaker system, allows me to record shows, watch TV, watch DVDs, view my photos, listen to my music and listen to the radio. The theatre is versatile, practical, simple to operate and provides my family with a high quality viewing experience. I am pleased to be able to recommend SmartHomeShop.
